Pete served as a representative at the United Nations in Geneva and New York with Ariel Foundation International. Accredited and with ECOSOC status, Pete contributed to work involving the World Investment Forum, the Economic and Social Council, and Youth Action Hubs.

Sustainable Businesses.

This 2019 report draws on perspectives from Australia, India, Italy, Oman, and the American States to explicate critical relationships between capitalism, environmentalism, and select notions of “sustainability.”

Investing in SDGs.

With the release of the United Nations ‘Agenda 2030’, 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were created to highlight a robust interpretation of human-centric needs. This paper offers critical perspectives on what “investments” in the Goals have and will look like with an eye toward future-making.

Action Hubs.

Geneva witnessed the creation of Youth Action Hubs in October 2018. The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) mediated conversations among youth from nearly every country culminating in the Hubs model. The purpose of local and regional Hubs around the world is to galvanize local action toward the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development with UNCTAD’s support.
